Have you ever looked at your daughters and realized you're inspired by two completely different worlds?

That is exactly how EsmeLue was born. I wanted to create a brand that builds a bridge between generations—a place where my own fifty-plus style meets the teenage and twenty-something energy of my daughters.

With a Master’s degree in Product Design from the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London, I spent most of my career in leadership roles within the furniture industry. That journey taught me everything about the art of product development—lessons that seamlessly translate into creating tangible, high-quality wearable art. Though my path was in furniture, ideas for jewelry and fashion always simmered in the back of my mind. Now, the time was finally right to build something of my own.

My daughters bring their own creative force to the table. Cultivated through formal art education, they sew, paint garments, and illustrate, fueled by a deep-rooted passion for fashion. Together, our worlds collide in the best way possible.

Today, they support the business behind the scenes by sharing fresh inspiration, modeling the pieces, and helping out with our social media.

Our brand is a true family story, which is why the name itself is a tribute to them. EsmeLue is a blend of my daughters' names, Esmeralda and Luella, carrying our family name, Liffner, at its very heart.

Everything you see is designed and custom-made by me, right here in my studio. I love mixing bold, playful statement pieces with cleaner, minimalist designs—blending metals, vibrant enamel, and raw stones into something unique.

But honestly, it’s about so much more than just the products. It’s about female empowerment. I wanted to create something with no rules and no age limits. Just beautiful, unique pieces meant to spark confidence and empower every single woman to express her true identity.
